Join us January 2021 for the ultimate skill-building event on Power Apps leading up to the Power Platform Global Boot Camp Feb 19-20 in Accra, Ghana. Whether you are new to Power Apps or have been building apps for some time, this is your chance to explore all the benefits and opportunities of no code/low code development on Microsoft Power Platform! The challenge, which was announced at the Power Africa Conference in December 2020, is open to anyone living on the continent of Africa.

Take your skills to new levels by joining a community that is learning together while having fun and competing for prizes!
What do winners get?
When you reach a new level in the daily challenge and weekly missions, you will be able to select from a group of prizes. In the finals round, a select number of the top app makers will build and submit their app to the challenge judges. Three top app makers will win the big prizes and have the chance to present their apps here at the Power Platform Global boot camp!
One Power Apps Africa Challenge winner will be named the Power Apps Africa Champion and take home the top prizes (to be announced as part of the game!)

Who is eligible to participate?
If you live on the continent of Africa and you build Power Apps or are learning Microsoft Power Platform, you can participate as the challenge! There are three roles you can play in the challenge:
Give yourself a chance to be one of the top app makers in Africa! Complete the daily challenges and compete in the weekly app building challenges.
Power Apps experts, community leaders, and MVPs are encouraged to participate in the challenge as coaches. Special challenges and prizes will be given for coaches!
What do you need?
When you sign up for the challenge, you will receive an Email letting you know the challenge dates and how to access the challenge via computer, tablet, or mobile device. If you do not have access to a development environment on make.powerapps.com, you can find instructions on how to set up your development environment in lesson 3 or the free Microsoft Power Platform course on Udacity.
